Mediator, conflict management coach and former Woodbury Mediation & Applied Conflict Studies core faculty member Tammy Lenski is a blogging veteran from back when blogs were in the dark ages…2002. After more than 20 years in higher education, including stints as an assistant professor of education, dean of students, vice president, and graduate mediation faculty, Tammy has finally come to realize two things: Being in academe for 20 years suggests she’s older and stodgier than she would like her image to project. And that her entire professional life has taken place at crossroads: At the intersection of mediation, marketing and technology, which gave rise to Tammy’s Mediator Tech blog. At the crossroads of mediating and teaching, each of which help her be better at the other. And, of course, at the intersection of people and conflict, which first brought Tammy to Woodbury to take a Basic Mediation course over a decade ago. Crossroads are good places to be, apparently.
