Amy Beth Kessinger has more than ten years’ experience in education. After a formative experience working at a small boarding school—where she played the roles of teacher, coach, dorm mom, and college advisor—Amy Beth moved to England to pursue a master’s in literature. She spent more than six years as program director of a pre-college residential summer enrichment program for high school students.
Currently, she is the director of the Full Service Community School at Mt. Anthony Union High School; she also works with the Quantum Leap Program at Bennington College. In her space time, she teaches literature and philosophy courses at the Community College of Vermont.
Amy Beth completed her M.S. in Mediation and Applied Conflict Studies at Woodbury College in 2007 and served as an Assistant Editor of Mastering Mediation during the 2006-07 academic year. She lives in the middle of the woods with her husband, Ethan; their two big dogs, Ella and Silas; one big cat, Otis, and one small cat, Little Abe.
